We are pleased to announce our EAKC Camp Out 2012 will take place Friday, July 27th – Sunday, July 29th at the beautiful lakefront campsite, Wesley Woods, in Williams Bay, Wisconsin near Lake Geneva. (click here for a map).

All Ethiopian, Ethiopian American and adoptive Ethiopian families are invited to attend. Our EAKC Camp Out welcomes families at all stages of the adoption process.

This is the registration site for the 2012 Camp.

New this year!

• A more relaxed and fun camp atmosphere to help us build a sense of community and get to know each other better
• Tween and teen team building outdoor course
• Recreational Amenities that are part of the all inclusive prices: boating, tubing, archery, horseshoes, volleyball, playgrounds, prayer walk, basketball, beach, fishing, children's crafts and more!
• EAKC “Olympics” – water games and silly sport competitions

On this site you will be able to make your reservation, selecting dates, the type of lodging and meals you require. Prices vary for children and adults, so you will need to enter the number of each in your reservation. Children under 3 are free, but you do need to register them. Anyone under 21 years of age needs to register and share accommodations with an attending adult.

We thank you for your patience as we develop our schedule for the weekend. The registration site, our Yahoo group EAKC and our website http://eakc.blogspot.com/ will be updated as our scheduling unfolds.

The Merkato and Silent Auction can only be successful if everyone participates! Please let us know if you will be in Ethiopia before camp starts and can pick up Ethiopian items of interest. Our silent auction has been very popular—please consider donations of Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Packers, Bears, Viking tickets, restaurant gift certificates, Ethiopian and children's items, etc.

Please contact us if you can donate or shop in Ethiopia as soon as possible.

Be sure to sign up to volunteer to help our camp run smoothly!

Lastly, we are seeking scholarship donors for those unable to afford camp. Please consider a donation—all amounts are appreciated!
